WALDOBORO TALENT SHOW

The Waldo Wants You and Your Talent!

Calling all Waldoborians! The third annual Waldoboro Talent Show takes The Waldo stage on Saturday, November 21 at 6 pm. We’re looking for three-minute acts from performers of every age and every kind of talent. Solo, duet, family act, or a group of friends or coworkers, everyone is welcome.
As Master of Ceremonies Sam Pennington, back as host this year, says, “This fall we’re on the hunt for new talent this year because I personally know that we’ve only to date scratched the surface of Waldoboro’s talent. So, don’t hide. Just sign up. And there are no auditions!”
What are we hoping to see? Leaping, tumbling cheerleaders. A violin jig, a jazzy piano riff, a brass band polka or march. A mournful ballad, a rocking country song, a crooning cabaret number. Breakdancers, swing dancers, and ballerinas in tutus. Jugglers, tricksters, yo-yo stars, hula hoopers, joke tellers, and improv actors. And anything out of the box, like a narrated comic strip, a witty skit, or something we haven’t imagined yet.
Ready to sign up?
Call organizer Rebecca Cooney at 917-873-8729 or email waldoborotalentshow@gmail.com. Include a phone number and a short description of who you are and what you’d like to do. Thank you in advance!
