Adult Programs at The Waldo
The Education Program at The Waldo invites you to bring your voice and creativity to the stage.
With a rotation of workshops and master classes, we aim to help participants explore
the many different ways to engage with the stage.
To learn more, check out upcoming offerings below!
All workshops are designed for seasoned actors and newcomers - all levels are welcome. Come for one, or come for all!
Cost: Sliding scale $30-65/workshop*
*The Waldo is using a sliding scale in the hope that we can create more financial accessibility to our workshops. We believe that financial resources should not be the determining factor for folks that want to access arts experiences. Scholarships are also available.

Whether brief or enduring, we cross paths with others in ways both ordinary and extraordinary. But when does a chance meeting become a long journey or remain a momentary shared path with a stranger, a loved one, an animal, or something unseen? Take the path to The Waldo to develop your story of a Shared Path and celebrate the many ways our lives intertwine.
Don’t consider yourself a storyteller? Not sure what story you even have to tell? Not to worry! Join us for a FREE 3-part Storytelling Workshop Series, during which Waldo instructors will guide participants through identifying their story, developing their story, and practicing telling a story in front of an audience.
Storytellers will have the option to tell their story live at a Waldo Theatre performance on June 12th. If you choose to participate in the performance, we also ask that you attend a rehearsal on June 11th.
There is no charge, but we ask that you pre-register so we know how many people to expect.

Testimonials
“When I showed up for the storytelling workshop, I had a lot of fear about creating a story - let alone telling one live! The workshop was step by step and the staff was so supportive there was really no way I could have failed."
