Wednesdays,
3:45-4:45PM,
February 25th-April 15th

Calling all secret agents! In this playful and imaginative theatre class, students will train at the “Spy Academy,” where creativity, teamwork, and curiosity are the keys to completing each mission. Through acting games, character creation, storytelling, and top-secret improvisation, young performers will learn how to use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to bring exciting spy adventures to life. Each week adds a new challenge - like decoding clues, exploring disguises, and navigating missions - all while building confidence and collaboration skills. No experience needed, just a readiness for fun and a flair for the dramatic. The mission begins now!

Tuesdays, 3:45-4:45PM, February 24th-May 5th (no class on April 21st)

It’s all pretend… but the fun is 100% real! In this high-energy class, students in grades 4–6 will learn how actors make action scenes look exciting—while staying completely safe! We will explore the basics of stage combat, including punches, slaps, falls, and simple partner choreography. Along the way, students will strengthen their focus, coordination, and confidence as they practice performing dramatic moments without ever making real contact. The goal? To learn how to “fight” like an actor—safely, creatively, and with LOTS of laughter.

Tuesday, 5:00-6:15PM, February 24th-May 5th (no class on April 21st)

Let the battles begin! Take your performance skills to the next level as you step into the world of professional-style stage combat! In this dynamic class for grades 7–12, actors will explore the techniques behind creating safe, believable, and thrilling fight scenes for the stage. From punches, grabs, and falls to beginner sword work and dramatic partner choreography, students will learn how to tell powerful stories through physical action. Emphasis is placed on safety, precision, collaboration, and acting intention—because great stage combat isn’t just about the moves, it’s about the characters, stakes, and emotional truth behind every encounter.
