Membership
Our mission at The Waldo is all about strengthening our community by collectively celebrating the arts. We believe that the arts have the power to unite as well as entertain, and that our programming should be accessible to everyone. To put it another way, we want you to know that You Belong at The Waldo. Membership dues come with a variety of awesome benefits and are available at 4 different levels: one for every budget. It’s effective June 1 and is renewable each year.
Annual membership also helps to keep the theatre operational. It takes a whole lot of effort and more than a little money to make all this magic happen! Whether you’re a student or a senior, a builder or a baker, a digger or a doctor, you can be a part of helping The Waldo keep the doors open and the lights on. For the months of May and June, every membership that is purchased we will donate a membership to a deserving individual or family in the area.
Description of Benefits
E-newsletter – Our monthly rundown of coming events complete with ticketing links, the E-news also
includes brief updates on what’s happening behind the scenes at The Waldo.
Movie Passes – Free passes to any of our regular film offerings throughout the year.
Special Offers – These will vary: you may get a last-minute email offering free tickets to an event,
discounts on Waldo merchandise, or something clever we haven’t thought of yet!
Member Appreciation Events – We appreciate our members, and to show it you may receive an
invitation to a pre- or post-show reception, a gallery opening, or a special performance for members
only.
Credit for Cancellation – Although our ticketing policy clearly states no refunds for cancellations, at the
Fan, Patron, or Star levels of membership, you can receive a house credit if you have to cancel, so you
can use that credit to book tickets to another event. (You’ll need to call and speak with our Box Office
Manager prior to the cancellation in order to receive the credit).
Discount on Classes –A 20% discount will apply to all our adult workshops or Master Classes.
Reserved Seating – Reserved seating means you’ll be seated in the second or third row of the orchestra,
ensuring an up-close-and-personal experience without having to arrive an hour before the show.
Priority Ticketing – You may have noticed we’ve been selling out a lot of our shows lately, so if you’re a
big fan of the big names, you’ll love having early access to purchase tickets before the general public.
Name in Newsletter – Stars get the celebrity treatment, and that includes recognition in our monthly
newsletter.
Reserved Parking – We have a limited number of reserved parking spaces available close to the building,
set aside for VIPs – for Star-level members only.
